Is your property an HMO?

As a rough indication of whether you need to register for an HMO Licence the following criteria will apply:

  • Does the property have 3 or more occupiers?
  • Are these occupiers unrelated to each other? (ie, no two or more people from the same family)
  • Is this property their principal home?
